Lindblad Expeditions said Thursday that former Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Andy Stuart has joined its board of directors.
Stuart was a 31-year veteran of Norwegian Cruise Line. He stepped down as CEO at the end of 2019.
Before being named NCL president in 2015, Stuart was the top sales executive at the cruise line for 15 years.
Stuart has also served as chairman of the Cruise Lines International Association and on the board of directors of Global Ports Holding.
Lindblad Expeditions founder and CEO Sven-Olof Lindblad, said that Stuart's "decades-long experience at the helm of one of the largest cruise lines in the world will provide a fresh perspective vital to our company's next phases of growth."
In a statement, Stuart said. "I have long been an admirer of the Lindblad Expeditions brand, so the opportunity to join the board as the company continues to grow both cruise capacity and innovative land options is one I am honored and excited to have been offered."
Lindblad also named Annette Reavis to its board of directors. Reavis currently serves as CrossFit's chief people officer and was a human resources executive at Facebook.
