Travel Leaders Network expanded its international presence to more than 80 countries. Additionally, Travel Leaders Vacation Center brand launched, combining more than a dozen successful leisure agencies under one brand.

Protravel International received Virtuoso's top-selling agency with its Top Network Production award and continued its West Coast expansion with offices opening in Corona del Mar and San Francisco, Calif.

Tzell Travel Group also expanded its presence on the West Coast with an office opening San Francisco.

Looking Ahead

Travel Leaders Group announced in May the creation of a new parent company, Internova Travel Group, to enhance service and support for advisors, agencies and travelers. The strategic reorganization groups similar brands into a portfolio of distinct travel divisions, each with a specific area of expertise and focus. The goal is to provide an optimal home for every advisor, agency and traveler, while delivering the greatest value to supplier partners through a more cohesive and focused structure. Travel Leaders Group, which includes the franchise and consortia business, Travel Leaders Network, the host agency, Nexion Travel Group, and businesses focused on leisure, cruise and tour sales.

Protravel International and Tzell Travel Group will be part of a new, yet-to-be-named division centered around the high-service, independent advisor business.

Altour will become Internova's division focused primarily on corporate travel management.

The hotel division includes Bonotel Exclusive Travel, the Worldwide Hotel program and Select Hotels & Resorts.

Other business units include Corporate Travel Services, which will continue its focus on the Latin American market, and Your Event Solutions, which will continue operating as the company's global specialty Meetings and Incentive business.
