Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will take delivery of a new Super Ship, the S.S. Emilie, in 2026. The ship will sail in Europe.

The Emilie is inspired by and named after Emilie Flöge, the life partner and muse of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt.

"We're thrilled to introduce a brand-new ship to our fleet in 2026, just in time to celebrate Uniworld's 50th anniversary," said Ellen Bettridge, CEO and president of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

The S.S. Emilie joins a fast-growing fleet. Two chartered ships, the S.S. Victoria and S.S. Elizabeth, will debut in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Uniworld is leasing the ships from Riverside Luxury Cruises; the vessels used to be part of the Crystal River Cruises fleet.

Uniworld has added five ships to its fleet since 2020, including the Mekong Jewel in Vietnam and Cambodia, Aria Amazon in Peru, S.S. São Gabriel in Portugal, S.S. La Venezia in Venice; and S.S. Sphinx in Egypt.
