Standard International is entering the luxury segment with the launch of a brand called The Manner.

Anticipated to debut in New York's SoHo neighborhood in September, The Manner's inaugural outpost will be located at 58 Thompson St.

The 97-room property will feature numerous custom art and sculpture pieces as well as television-free guestrooms.

The hotel will also be home to four food and beverage concepts, all helmed by chef Alex Stupak. These will include a seafood-focused restaurant called The Otter, a cocktail bar called Sloane's and two additional venues focused primarily on private dining occasions.

The Manner's debut comes on the heels of Standard International's launch of another flag, StandardX, late last year.

The two newcomers join Standard International's The Standard, Bunkhouse and The Peri Hotel concepts.
