Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to plant a flag in Tokyo.
The hotel, expected to open in 2028, will be part of the redevelopment of Tokyo's World Trade Center (WTC) in the city's Hamamatsucho district. The Raffles Tokyo will occupy the top 46 floors of the building and have 130 guestrooms, including 27 suites.
The property will also feature six food and beverage outlets, a fitness studio, a swimming pool, and a spa and bathhouse. There will be 12,400 square feet of meeting and event space.
Raffles, which is part of the Accor brand portfolio, currently has 20-plus properties worldwide. The luxury brand made its U.S. debut last year when it opened the Raffles Boston.
