Canada's Trevello World Holdings, parent company of the host agency Trevello Travel Group, has named Elizabeth Crabill its CEO as it plans an expansion of its independent contractor network into the U.S.
Crabill, most recently the CEO of CIE Tours, has been tasked with expanding the host agency after its 30 years in Canada.
Zeina Gedeon, CEO of Trevello's Canadian operating company, will remain in that role, focused on business within Canada. Gedeon will also be Trevello World Holdings' COO, reporting to Crabill.
Crabill, based in New York, will report to Trevello founder Morris Chia.
Crabill spent the past eight years as the chief of CIE. She brings 20 years of experience to her new role; past posts include president of Travel Bound and GTA Americas and leadership roles with Lindblad Expeditions, Travel Impressions and Global Adrenaline. She was also chair and board director of USTOA.
"Thanks to Zeina's leadership, vision and passion as well as to the dedication, loyalty and tireless efforts of our worldclass team, our Canadian business is thriving, positioning us well for this exciting evolution of Trevello," Chia said in a release.
